I’m fascinated by hand lettering and am always on a mission to perfect my own. So much of lettering really is about angles, widths, and all that other mathematical stuff that I generally like to avoid. I do really love this sweet little tutorial from A Pair and A Spare. I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to show you this AMAZING bedspread, but without further ado, here it is! It was made by my mom, Sharron Westerfield, for me for Christmas. She used the Circa 1934 fabrics that she purchased at the shop she works part time at Stychee Woman Studio.

My mom is an amazing seamstress, quilter, crocheter and embroiderer. She’s such a perfectionist. That’s why my quilt turned out so lovely. She told me that a lot of her fellow classmates made a similar quilt style with the stripes of fabric, but she decided to add the pops of colored giant numbers all over it. I love it so much!
